This is the third post in a series about how art galleries are using the iPad in their business.
The Linda Blackstone Gallery in the UK had an iPad on display at the Affordable Art Fair. They were using it to show the art they had available, and were using the built-in Photos app to organize the work. Each artist had its own folder of images, so it was easy to navigate.
The gallerist said she often used the iPad as a preliminary method of showing art, to gauge the viewer’s interest before having to go into her storage area to pull out the original artwork. So it was saving time, plus avoiding unnecessary wear and tear on the art.
