Mostly computers and accessories, although they have lots of iPhone cases too–more unusual stuff than you’d find at Best Buy. 445 Fifth Ave at 39th Street.
Prepare to be overwhelmed at this gigantic emporium of all things electronic. Park Row.
Wired Magazine tries to find more innovative or never-before-seen gadgets, stuff that’s a little more on the cutting edge. How about the Sound Egg for $2525–sit in a little pod that has speakers inside it. 42nd Street and Broadway. Only open Wed-Sun.
Yes, most of their items are housewares, but they do have nifty alarm clocks and mini speakers and a few other gadgety-type items. 11 West 53rd Street, 44 West 53rd Street, and 81 Spring Street.
If you’re desperate, you could do worse than sticking your head in Radio Shack. They tend to have lots of stocking-stuffer-sized and -priced gifts. Locations around the city.
