Rules & Info
They will accept electronic waste from residents and small businesses (under 50 employees). That includes cel phones, monitors, computers, printers, scanners. No home appliances (air conditioners, no microwaves). Read more on their FAQ.
As a bonus, all Zipcar members who show their Zipcard get a $15 driving credit, “while supplies last.”
We remind you to ERASE ALL DATA on hard drives before recycling. Even though the LES Ecology Center says the drives will be physically destroyed, we wouldn’t take their word for it. Get in touch with us if you need help with drive erasing, or secure destruction of drives.
