Amazon Prime on the iPad

If you’re an Amazon Prime member ($79 per year), yes you get free 2-day shipping on almost everything, but did you know you also get free streaming of movies and TV shows?

And if you download the free Amazon Prime app in the App Store, you can watch those movies on your iPad (or iPhone).

I recently watched 2 movies on my iPad Mini and they looked great. Plus I wished I had looked here, before buying Seasons 1 and 2 of Downton Abbey on iTunes.

Some of the TV shows they have: Downton Abbey, Alias, Arrested Development, Parks and Recreation, Homeland, plus lots of kid stuff (Dora, SpongeBob).

And some of the movies: The Lincoln Lawyer, Ocean’s 11, The Queen of Versailles, Goodfellas, Casablanca, Eyes Wide Shut, Winter’s Bone, and tons of kid stuff as well.

The selection is limited, but now I always check out what’s on offer before going to iTunes to purchase something.
