While working on an article on how to help teens stay focused while doing homework on the computer, I came across the TrackTime software ($25; free 30-day trial).
I’m testing out TrackTime today and am both impressed and a little freaked out with how well it tracks what I did since the install. It’s a great way of checking whether I was productive or not at the end of the workday.
The first screenshot is the timeline, showing exactly what program I was in at each minute of the day. Each program is a different color.
The second screenshot shows total time so far today in each program. You can see I was trying out different pieces of software.
The third screenshot shows how much time I spent on each different website. Again, today it was lots of different websites as I researched software.
I wonder what TrackTime will show me about my work habits tomorrow?
