We’re on day 20 of our 24-day guide to cool tech and geek gifts for the holidays.

Today’s gadget gift comes from Japan Trend Shop, which has tons of weird stuff, so make sure to poke around. It’s the Yamanote Line train station watch, $202 plus shipping from Japan. The watch face is designed to look like the signboards at the major Tokyo train stations, and it displays the time and date in a manner they say is “identical to the original platform signage.” Good gift for anybody who loves Japan and wants to be reminded of it regularly, perhaps? Or anybody who wants to have Japanese characters on his wristwatch?
